Recipe's Needed!!!

Hi Everyone,

My roommates and I have apartment dinner every night. We have been trying to eat healthy but we are looking for some new recipe's. So far the hits have been White Chili, pizza (whole wheat crust), Chicken and vegetables (only cause I'm a seasoning master!), BBQ/Salsa Chicken, and taco salad. But we need help we need cheap, easyish, and HEALTY recipe's. Help a girl out! Thanks!!!

  1. Lentil soup is so yummy, healthy, and fairly quick. The recipe says to let it cook for 2 hours, but it also works in 20 minutes. I just turn the temperature up a bit. (Of course, if you can what longer, the flavors are better.)

    Ingredients

    * 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
    * 1 onion, diced
    * 2 carrots, sliced
    * 2 stalks celery with leaves, chopped
    * 1 pound kielbasa sausage, sliced
    * 2 quarts chicken broth
    * 1 (15 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
    * 1 clove garlic, crushed
    * 1 pound dry lentils, rinsed
    * 2 bay leaves
    * salt and pepper to taste

    Directions

    1. Heat oil in a large stockpot over medium heat. Stir in the onion, carrots, and celery; cook and stir for 2 minutes. Add kielbasa, chicken broth, tomatoes, garlic, lentils, and bay leaves and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 2 hours. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
